This disease truly is a modern day epidemic.  The research and support that MacMillan has done has made a huge difference in the quality of treatment and the survival statistics.  Macmillan are here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, providing physical, financial and emotional support. 

Losing my mother at such an early age is the scar of my soul.  But I feel like it ultimately made me into the person I am today;  I understand the journey of life. I had to go through what I did to be here.

I am forever grateful for the wonderful support and help that was provided to my mum and my family from Macmillan, they are absolutely amazing.  I am raising money for a wonderful charity - Macmillan Cancer Support - which improves the lives of people affected by cancer.
