Story

Hi Guys, thanks for coming to my page;

As some of you will know a friend and colleague of mine, Abby Webb, passed away a little over a year ago from Cancer. Abby was a huge cycling fan and in her memory I decided that I would like to challenge myself with a cycling event to raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

I currently work as an Area manager for Aldi and currently spend a fair chunk of my week driving around in my car. To raise money for charity I have decided to give up my comfortable Audi and change it for the harsh saddle of a bike for a week.

My average weekly mileage is usually in the region of 300 miles, but the week that I have chosen also contains a meeting in Cardiff which is a 90 mile round trip from home.

As anyone who knows me can tell you, I am not the most slim-lined of gentlemen, therefore this challenge has required a lot of training so far. There is much more training still to be had so I hope you can all motivate me by donating to a great cause.

Kind regards,

Aston
