<p><strong>Lets provide vulnerable children around the world a safe home!!!</strong></p> <p><strong>What I will do</strong>:</p> <p>23 September 2012 I will join a 256km footrace starting at the north rim of the Grand Canyon and will end, following six stages, at the summit of the Pink Cliffs of the Grand Staircase, navigating over all different kinds of terrain: hard packed sand, soft sand, dunes, forest trails, rocky roads and even crossing rivers. The whole race is self sufficient: racers have to carry food, medicines, sleeping gear etc for the whole week on their back. Organisation only provides in water, tents and medical help. The average distance we cover every day will be around 40km with one day (and night) being a challenging 80km!
