Story
Pirate Octopus is a dual-office team of graduates raising money for Atkins’ charity RedR, split over Bristol and Exeter. We are comprised of seven adventurous individuals who are working hard to bring a broad choice of activities for everyone to partake in and spectate at.
As a taster of what’s to come over the next two months, we will:
- adventure 80 miles across acres of countryside;
- share self-defence skills at a 10,000 throws "throw-a-thon";
- spruce sedans for that showroom shine;
- endow cake to the eager office of Exeter;
- brighten lunchtimes at Bristol with boardgames and office Olympics;
- each sweat it out on a 30 minute spin;
- present a LAN party to game away a Friday evening.
Meet the Team:

Helen: I'm Helen, and I'll be the team secretary for the Pirate Octopus charity
challenge team, eager to get involved with raising money for RedR!
Het: My Name is Het Patel, and for this year’s graduate charity challenge I will be the Health and Safety Officer for the Pirate Octopus team. As a safety and reliability engineer, I assure you will be in safe hands whilst trying not to
restrict the fun, promise!
Derreck: I'm Derreck, the team's Master of Coin. Looking forward to organising a wide range of activities for this year's Atkins Graduate Charity Challenge!
Josh: I'm Josh, really looking forward to getting stuck into some challenges and raising for RedR!
