RedR UK strengthens the capacity of agencies, aid workers and affected communities to prepare, respond, and recover from disaster. We enable effective, inclusive, and sustainable response to complex humanitarian crisis.

Story

Pirate Octopus is a dual-office team of graduates raising money for Atkins’ charity RedR, split over Bristol and Exeter. We are comprised of seven adventurous individuals who are working hard to bring a broad choice of activities for everyone to partake in and spectate at.

As a taster of what’s to come over the next two months, we will:

  1. adventure 80 miles across acres of countryside;
  2. share self-defence skills at a 10,000 throws "throw-a-thon";
  3. spruce sedans for that showroom shine;
  4. endow cake to the eager office of Exeter;
  5. brighten lunchtimes at Bristol with boardgames and office Olympics;
  6. each sweat it out on a 30 minute spin;
  7. present a LAN party to game away a Friday evening.

Meet the Team:

challenge team, eager to get involved with raising money for RedR!

restrict the fun, promise!

Derreck: I'm Derreck, the team's Master of Coin. Looking forward to organising a wide range of activities for this year's Atkins Graduate Charity Challenge!
