RedR is an international disaster relief charity whose mission is to address this need by training, supporting and providing aid workers to relief programmes across the world. RedR delivers training to relief organisations and their staff enabling them to respond to the needs of communities hit by disasters, efficiently and safely. 

Here is why ..

Every year, millions of people are affected by natural disasters and their impact can be catastrophic. Sweeping buildings, spreading disease and destroying livelihoods -- natural disasters can devastate cities and towns overnight. They can hugely disrupt lives and, particularly, people living in poverty are even more vulnerable as they have fewer resources when trying to cope with the damages and to rebuild their homes and livelihoods.

To support this mission, Atkins has set us a fundraising challenge. Teams, made up of graduates from different departments and locations across the UK were given the challenge to raise a total of £37,000 for RedR.

Our team is made up of an enthusiastic young group of Epsom based engineers, who have come up with the concept of "spreading the word" of our commitment to RedR - by painting their name along with our name in large letters across the face of London! The team consists of:
