Story
Thank you for your generous donation to RNLI in memory of our loving husband and father, Russ.
As you will know, Russ was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in October 2014. He fought a very brave fight with it for 16 months but sadly on 9th February, he lost his battle. At 69, he was certainly too young to be taken from us - if there were more people like him, the world would certainly be a better place. We will miss him every day but he will live on in our hearts and memories forever.
RNLI was Dad's favourite charity. He loved to be by the sea and admired the valuable work the RNLI does every day. In recent years, he spent much time in Wales - at Russ and Sue's house in Mumbles - where the Lifeboat station is an integral part of daily life there. Your donation will help to continue the amazing work of these volunteers.
With love and best wishes
Sue, Louise, Sally & Sam

P.S. A donation page has also been set up in Russ's name in aid of Cancer Research UK.
