We as Audrey's Angels will be completing the Bling Fling 10k walk in Aberdeen on May 16th as we did last year.  Sadly, there will be one of us missing this year - Audrey.  Audrey showed great determination and courage, as she did throughout her illness, to complete the 5k walk last year whilst fighting secondary breast cancer.  Audrey completed the walk with a smile and had us all in stitches with her tremendous sense of humour a the after show party.  Eight weeks later on the 9th July 2009 Audrey lost her battle with cancer aged 39. 

 

Audrey was an amazing wife, friend and mother to Adam and is sadly missed by all who knew her.  Audrey wanted to complete the walk last year to raise money for the bling fling charities.  A research project has been set up in Audrey's name which will look into why chemotherapy works on some tumours but not on others. 

 

We feel honoured to complete the walk again this year in what will obviously be an emotional day for us all but we know Audrey will be there with us smiling and laughing at as along the way.
