On 4 September 2010 a number of colleagues & their families from Swinderby, Liverpool & other Cargill locations will be taking part in a sponsored walk across the Peak District to raise money for the UK Stroke Assosiation. This charity works very closely with the Clatterbridge Hospital Stroke Unit. This unit was instrumental in the care & rehabilitation of our friend & colleague Mark Brocklehurst who was a patient at the unit after he suffered a major stroke July 2009. In an effort to show our recognition of Mark’s tremendous efforts to get well and raise much needed funds for other stroke survivors we will be walking a total of 12 miles across the Peak District. We ask you to show your support and urge you to give generously!
