Salam Alaikum,

I will be taking part in the zipline challenge in order to support our emergency response campaign, to help protect and save thousands of families from the devastating effects of natural disasters and conflict.

A deadly volcanic eruption has caused a powerful tsunami on Sunda Strait, devastating the entire island. 16,000 people have been displaced and over 150 people still missing. The tsunami hit late at night when most people were asleep and came with no warnings or signs. The gigantic waves have devastated the entire island, destroying homes, communication lines and infrastructure. Hospitals are struggling to deal with the influx of patients, and with hundreds injured, there is a massive strain on health services and a severe lack of medical supplies and equipment.

Thousands of people are in desperate need of food, water, healthcare and fuel. We are determined to do what we can to support those who have lost everything in this awful disaster.
