Assalamu Alaikum!

Readily available, clean water is a basic commodity many do not have easy access to. Ghana faces many challenges due to an intermittent water supply, with high water losses that has compromised adequate sanitation.

Water-related illnesses claim the lives of at least 1 in 10 Ghanian children before they reach their 5th birthday. The infrastructure requires investment to desperately establish a clean water supply to save these lives and reduce the disparity between urban and rural water access.

As part of University of Sheffield Islamic Circle (USIC) Charity Week 2018, I hope to climb Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England, with my peers, in a bid to raise money for those in Ghana that do not have the luxury of clean water.

All donations (and Dua's) no matter how big or small, will be much appreciated and will also do wonders Insha'Allah!
