I'm raising funds for The ABF Soldier's Charity as they provide much needed support on the road to recovery. I'm participating as part of Team True Spirit in the Ironman in Bolton in July as the first step on my road back to physical recovery. My injury has altered so many things in my life but being part of TTS has shown me that all things are surmountable and this is as good a place to the place to start as any - fingers crossed to moving onwards and upwards. Not sure that marathon at the end of an Ironman will be an option but it's always good to have a goal! Team True Spirit is full of people showing grit and determination and humour and strength. I'd be very grateful for any donations to support our worthwhile causes and to show support to those who have worked so very hard to get where they are today.
