Story
Because I am a girl
At least one in five adolescent girls around the world is denied an education by the daily realities of poverty, conflict and discrimination. Every day girls are taken out of school and forced into work or married off to strangers. Missing out on school can mark the end of a girl having any choice in her future. That’s why Plan –UK’s' Because I am a Girl’ Campaign is such an awesome charity. Every day it helps millions of girl’s worldwide break the cycle of poverty with much needed guidance and support for further education. With the help of BIAAG, girls across the world are given other options than to marry and create families when only children themselves. With BIAAG they can build a positive future for themselves as strong educated and confident women!
To raise money for this worthy cause we are grabbing a rickshaw, pimping it out, and driving it like total utter nutters (quite literally as we have onlyjust learnt to drive!) 4,500km across India! We need to get from Cochin to Shillong. All with no map, no satnav, no accommodation planned, and quite frankly no clue of what we have gotten ourselves in for! for more details click here

Our Goal: If we live to tell the tale of our adventure it would truly be topped off by reaching our target of £4000 for our favourite charity!
Friends, Family and any generous strangers who stumble across our page please dig deep and think of what this charity is doing for girls all over the world, girls who unlike us are facing a life that is decided for them, let’s help them by giving them the education they deserve and that one day will be a right not a privilege!
Lot of love-age
