Bonnie's Jailbreak Hitch-hike

Jail Break · 23 March 2015
On the 23rd of March I am taking part in a Jailbreak hitch-hike as part of Leeds RAG raising money for Breast Cancer UK. This charity is close to my heart as I have witnessed a close family friend beat this disease, but have also lost a very inspirational teacher.
Breast Cancer is the most common type of cancer in the UK and in 2011 just under 50,000 women and 400 men were diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. The lifetime risk of being diagnosed with breast cancer is 1 in 8 for women in the UK.
Jailbreak is a sponsored hitch-hike where in groups of two we have 36 hours to get as far away as we can from The University of Leeds spending no money on travel. Its a competition to see who can get the furthest away.
GPS updates will be posted to see who is where, in previous years some groups have made it as far as Malaga and Austria!
I have set myself a target to raise £200, but I hope to raise as much money as possible for this very important charity. Please dig deep into your pockets and donate as much or as little as you like, all donations would be very much appreciated!
I will post on this page after I have completed the hitch-hike to let you know how I got on. Hopefully I would have at least left Yorkshire and ended up somewhere interesting.
Wish me luck.
