The King’s Trust supports 11 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed or struggling at school to get their lives on track. Many of the young people we support are in or leaving care, have been in trouble with the law, or they are facing challenges such as homelessness or mental health issues.

Story

Wheels for Change is an annual fundraising cycling challenge, led by Barclays colleagues to raise money for charity. The 2018 event will takes place on 7th September and 14 members of the BCP Team from different parts of Commercial Payments, are taking part to support this great cause.

Taking part will be: Yousef Al-Omary; David Anderton; Iain Buckle; Ross Cooper; Adam Edwards; Elly McMeehan; Kyle McQueen; Jonathan Nixon; Dafydd Roberts; Andy Robinson; John Bostock; Chirag Thakrar; Maise.Wilkinson

The Prince's Trust, one of Barclays' UK charity partners, helps young people to develop key skills, confidence and motivation to move into employment, education or training through programmes that provide practical and financial support.

As part of Barclays’ Citizenship strategy, the Shared Growth Ambition, we are focused on supporting access to employability for all. By working with organisations like The Prince’s Trust we are able to support the next generation in getting the skills and support they need, ultimately helping them to build stronger futures for themselves and their families.
