On behalf and in aid of the Butchers and Drovers Charitable Institute (BDCI), we are very pleased to invite you to take part in a racing day, which will take place on Friday 20 July 2012.
What is a Team Endurance Race?
The event comprises a three hour team endurance race at Daytona Milton Keynes for 24 teams of four drivers. Racing in Daytona’s twin-engined prokarts on the full 1300 Metre International Circuit, the team that manages its strategy and its driving to achieve the most laps will be the winners.
Timings:
12:00hrs Reception Opens
12:30hrs Safety Briefing (Mandatory attendance)
13:00hrs Practice/Qualifying (All drivers must complete a few laps of the circuit and lap times will dictate the teams’ grid positions)
13:30hrs Chequered Flag
13:40hrs Start drivers to karts
13:45hrs Race Start (a rolling start to the three hour race)
14:00hrs BBQ & Bacon Rolls (squash is available all day)
16:45hrs Chequered Flag
16:50hrs Award Ceremony (trophies for the top three teams on the podium)
Sponsorship:
Sponsorship opportunities exist this year for £500 per company. Full recognition will be given to all companies on all official communication and on the day.
This year’s Festival Chairman, James Sydenham (Interfood Technology Ltd) would very much like to thank you in advance for your support for this event. James’s aim is to raise as much money as we can for the charity and also to raise the charity’s profile, so why not enjoy yourselves while helping to achieve these aims.

To book your team please email Danielle Hewett (PA to James Sydenham) at dhewett@interfoodtechnology.com with your team details so she can add them to this page and then donate the £500 payable plus £20 per head for BBQ & Bacon Rolls.
