When James at Car Dealer magazine first told us about Bangers 4 BEN Mark II we were incredibly excited. The first Bangers 4 BEN earlier in 2009 was a massive success, raising £1,700 for BEN despite having only four participants.

BEN took over organising the event and the initial 20 places for Bangers 4 BEN Mark II were snapped up and an extra ten didn't last much longer!

Kirsten Galvin, BEN's intrepid Head of Marketing and Communications, and Emily Bird, BEN's indomitable Press and Communications Executive, will be buying their own banger and taking part in the event to raise money and awareness for the charity. We need your help!

BEN is the Automotive Industry Charity, the only occupational charity for those who work or have worked in the automotive and related industries. Founded in 1905, the Charity provides practical help, support, advice and friendship to more than 15,000 men and women and their families every year. In addition BEN provides a home to over 350 individuals who reside in one of its four residential centres in the UK and offers day care facilities at its centre in Coventry.
