Story
The Tri-Challenge is back on! Following our original attempt in March when we were defeated by the weather, the challenge is still alive and kicking. On the 29 of June we will be challenging ourselves with a 10 mile canoe from Falcon Rowing Club to Thrupp, a 6 mile run back to our new studio in Summertown, followed by a cycle of a about 45 miles out into the Oxfordshire countryside and back again. So if you have already sponsored us thank you, we haven’t forgotten you. If you would like to sponsor us and haven’t done so yet there is still time.
Following the success of our charity cycle ride from London to Loughborough (via Oxford) for last year’s AUDE Conference - raising nearly £2000, we at BGS have decided this year to turn our cycle to AUDE into a triathlon style challenge. The plan is to leave Oxford by kayak (kindly supported by Falcon Rowing and Canoeing Club) on the morning of Sunday the 24th of March, some 10 miles north of Oxford we will take to the towpath and run approx 10k before switching to the bikes for the rest of the 50 miles to Warwick University. We are doing this challenge to raise some money for Sobell House Hospice, a local Oxford hospice that has recently provided support for someone we know.
