We wanted to think about how we might be able to help and the best way that we felt that we can do this is to try to support Macmillan, so that others with cancer can continue to benefit from Macmillan's fantastic expertise. Of course, Macmillan isn't just about those dying with cancer, as they also help the many thousands that beat it.
As we wanted to undertake an event as soon as we could we thought biking might be best and we found that the only real cycling event (other than cycling up the Alps!) that might be both enjoyable and achievable, is to pedal from London to on the 20th June.
So as many friends as we have been able to cajole into action, 25 of them so far, will be riding and all of us will use this page to ask you to try to help Macmillan.
