Children and our latest fundraising activity sees a number of police officers and friends cycle 500 miles across 5 countries in 5 days to raise money for Caudwell Children’s Destination Dreams holiday for children fighting life threatening conditions, a project very close to their hearts. 

From the 13th to 17th September we will be cycling through Germany, Holland, Belgium, France & England and hope to raise more than £20,000 – enough money to send two children fighting life limiting illnesses and their families on their trip of a lifetime to Florida.

Caudwell Children are a national charity based in Stoke on Trent who provide family support services, equipment, treatment and therapies for disabled children and their families across the UK.

Destination Dreams is a holiday organised by Caudwell Children to Disney World in Florida for children fighting life threatening illnesses. Every child has a terminal prognosis or a severely life limiting condition.

The magical Destination Dreams week provides families with happy memories they can keep forever and the opportunity to make lifelong friends that understand their situation better than anyone else. The programme provides a break from the routine of painful treatments and hospital appointments. The volunteer team offer support to families when they need it, pushing a wheelchair to enable parents to hold hands and see the look on their children’s faces as they meet all their favourite characters.
