 MALLAIG MISSION

November 22nd 2010 will be 20 years since the sad and tragic loss of the Carradale fishing boat Antares with all hands.

As a mark of respect I will cycle 212 miles from Mallaig to the Antares  memorial plaque on Carradale pier over two days to raise money for the Royal Deep Sea Fishermans Mission in memory of all lost.

Day 1  Friday July 30th will see me cycle from Mallaig to Lochgilphead and resting over night

Day 2 will see the completion of the marathon effort travelling via Kilberry and Campbeltown hopefully arriving at Carradale pier 7.pm approx on Saturday 31st July.

"The accident is something that is never far from the thoughts of all who live in Carradale, especially  those who lost family members  or friends , it  just feels  right  to mark twenty years for  those  lost and raise  funds for a worth while charity.

Thanks

Bobby
