On Friday 12 Oct a group of Oldham Athletic fans will be walking over night and almost 40 miles to watch a football match.

 

Why you may ask? A recent event involving the child of ex Latics Captain Dean Holden highlighted how easy Meningitis and the illnesses connected can affect a family.

Recently Alex Williams a life long Latic fan and  Ambassador  for the Meningitis Trust passed away. This walk is to highlight that Meningitis can effect anyone and everyone.
