Story

Hi there, and thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

Well, we're back!  After very successful fundraising seasons for the Beaujolais Runs of 2006 and 2007, where we raised over £5,500 for charity through kind donations like the one you are hopefully about to make, after a short break we have decided to go for it again this year, and have entered the Beaujolais Run for 2010 which is sponsored by the likes of Burlington, Louis Jadot, Champagne Taittinger, Blackberry, Trackaphone, ...  This takes place from 15-19 November 2010.

In previous years Graham was teamed with his friend Nigel in his Ferrari 550 Maranello, then his friend Simon in his Maserati 4200 Spyder, but this year Graham is joined by friend and business partner Matthew Thompson, and we will be raising funds for Headway (which is one of two charities which the Run is supporting).

We have recently acquired a real classic in which to compete - a 1993 Jaguar XJ6 3.2S.  Our plan is to sell it again after the event - if we make a profit that will be donated to charity.  The objective (or challenge) is to complete the run in the minimum amount of miles with various clues to find secret checkpoints, whilst wearing a themed fancy dress (this year's theme is "What I want to be when I grow up"!).   It is not a speed event.  But it is a high-profile event and attracts many sponsors.

ALL of your monies donated will go to the nominated charity - all our costs for travel, car, hotel, food and not forgetting petrol will be paid for by us.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Headway will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please dig deep, sponsor us here and now! and many thanks indeed for your kind support.

Kind Regards

Graham Faulkner & Matthew Thompson
