The objective of the Bangladesh Resource Centre is thus to educate, for if education is simply the soul of a society which passes from one generation to another, then the long term vision is to preserve the soul of Bangladesh. 

Only a small, elite sector of society can afford to purchase a computer. There are very few public institutions that provide internet access to the underprivileged. We hope to provide basic computer and internet training for visitors to our centre. With literacy rates forming amongst the poorest in world, 54% in 2007, as highlighted by UNICEF, Selfless envisions a centre where the youth of Sylhet can enjoy free facilities consisting of a fully fledged library and IT centre in their formative years. One of the very few libraries for young people catering for educational needs in Greater Sylhet, the maintenance and day to day running is crucial to its preservation. That’s where we need you. 

Your contributions and donations in any form and amount are essential for the progress of the project where we envisage a fruitful and successful educational hub for the deprived youth in Bangladesh. To picture the flourishing of educational standards and to witness and partake in the prosperity of an underprivileged society is what we foresee.
