I'm taking part in an off-road running event on 27th November 2011. The race is about 12 miles long and takes competitors through the "bogs of doom" and "hills of hell", made worse by the fact that it's in the middle of winter and often involves wading through ice!

I'm running this race for a children's education and feeding centre in Zimbabwe set up and supported by Vimba. I hope to raise just £50 which will be able to supply water and stationary to the centre for a month! This would be a great Christmas gift to children that really need it.
