My story

In the UK there may be one million people with Barrett's Oesophagus a potentially pre-cancerous condition claiming the life of one person an hour.

Barrett's Wessex, a local support group for people in the Wessex area, has raised funds to buy a machine that can prevent Barrett's Oesophagus becoming cancer.

They are presently embarking on an awareness campaign that persistent heartburn isn't normal - and can kill!

Visit www.barrettswessex.org.uk for more information.
