Tom Walker Memorial Cycle Ride · 15 May 2010

The Bone Cancer Research Trust is the leading charity dedicated to fighting primary bone cancer. Our mission is to save lives and improve outcomes for people affected by primary bone cancer through research, information, awareness and support.

Story

On 15th May 2010 I, along with up to 100 others, will be cycling from Burleigh College in Loughborough to the Clock Tower in Skegness. This is a distance of around 90 miles. 90 bottom aching miles. Ouch.

Those cycling, and volunteering as support for the day, will be doing so in the memory of Tom Walker and will be raising money for Bone Cancer Research Trust - http://www.justgiving.com/bcrt & http://www.bonecancerresearch.org.uk/

Tom was sadly taken by Osteosarcoma almost two years ago and his parents Rick & Jacquie, along with brother Michael were understandably devestated. They are constantly trying to raise awareness of Bone Cancer Research as well as raising money for the Trust. It is on their behalf that we are cycling to Skeg-Vegas.

Please give as generously as you can, and remember to click for 'Gift Aid' if the donation is eligible.

Many thanks in advance,

Babbage.
