10K Sponsored Walk · 3 September 2016 ·

We help the babies, children and young people treated at Scotland's largest children's hospital, the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow. We fund medical equipment, research, play programmes and family support services to ensure that our young patients receive the best possible care and experience.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit ourJustGiving page.

On 3rd September, Badaboom will be walking 10k in memory of the bravest wee boy we've ever known - Darius Najafian.  Darius passed away on 20th March shortly after his 2nd birthday.

Although Darius' condition remains undiagnosed, doctors believe it was a rare genetic disorder called Mitochondrial disease. Despite never getting a diagnosis, the Glasgow Children's Hospital provided the best care possible.

We are fundraising along with Darius' incredible parents, Liana and Omid, big brother Omid Jr, and all his family and friends to raise money for the Darius Najafian Memorial Fund set up in his memory.
