It's time for a new challenge - the July 2010 Canadian Wilderness Expedition is now just a faint memory and the slipped disc just about repaired enough for the next jaunt.
Since as long as I can remember I have loved the history of our isles and of it's many and beautiful places - one of the few I have never visited is Hadrian's Wall...so to make up for this gap in the portfolio I thought I would walk it end to end in 4 days from Boxing Day to New Year's eve - yep that'll be unsupported and bivvying enroute "survival style" with nowt but the hound for company...
It's an 82 mile epic and I suspect it might be a bit chilly...I promise a set of Facebook video chapters enroute. I am doing it as a personal challenge; but hope to raise a few bob for the LINC fund who do amazing work for people with blood cancer in Gloucestershire...
