We don't know what we have until it's gone!
A lot of people have already asked me why I'm doing this and my answer has been "why not, it's only hair, it'll grow back!" Plus it needs to be a challenge worth your while to support.
There are so many people who lose their hair due to their cancer treatment, so to honour their strength, in the memory of my brother, to support a charity that enabled me to get back on my feet and to be grateful that I can do this in good health I have set my challenge this year to shave my hair off for MacMillan Cancer Support.
I hope that you will give as much or as little as you can.
Shave date is not confirmed but it will be the first week of August. And I will make sure I post photos on this website afterwards so you can see my head (it'll be first time for me too)...I'm looking forward to growing my hair already.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Macmillan Cancer Support gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
