Important!  If you're donating then please make sure that you allow us to see your email address so we can let you know if you're the owner of the winning balloon! Check your contact preferences (just after the Facebook link bit) and make sure you tick the box!

Also, donations aren't eligible for Gift Aid as there's prizes involved. Don't worry if you've already ticked the Gift Aid box the charity, Neuroblastoma Alliance UK are aware and won't claim. Thank you.

Anya Bentham is a very special little girl who needs our help. We want to sell as many balloons as possible and release them so that she and her family can see thousands of balloons full of hope fly up into the sky. We were planning on launching on Easter Monday 1st April however due to the awful unseasonal weather, we've taken the difficult decision to postpone. In such cold weather balloons are likely to go up and come straight back down. We'll be applying for a new Civil Aviation Authority approval and we'll let you know the new date and location - apologies for the delay.

Each balloon costs £2.00 and will have a tag asking the finder to record the location it was found onto a website. The balloon travelling the furthest distance will win it's owner a prize of £500! There is also two runners up prizes of £250 and £100.

This means that each £2 donation you make gives you a chance of winning up to £500! I'm afraid that balloon race donations are not eligible for Gift Aid.

The event has generously been sponsored by Gap Personnel and Edge Transport so a big thank you to them for their help.  

We'll be selling balloons throughout March and April 2013 however to enter online simply make a donation to this page and we'll allocate a balloon for each £2 donated.

We'll keep a track of people who have donated and will get in touch with the winners so please ensure you don't untick the box that allows us to contact you!
