<p>On the <span style="color: #ff0000;">7th of April</span> a team from RBS will take on the combined might of Lloyds Banking Group/Bank of Scotland in the second annual Aberdeen Banking Charity Football Match.</p>
<p>The match will be played at Aberdeen sports village, on a pitch the size of Wembley. Given the varied fitness levels involved this is a challenge in itself.</p>
<p>This year the match will be raising funds for Aberdeen Liver Fund.</p>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small; font-family: Arial;"><span class="657255618-04032011">Aberdeen Liver Fund was set up to be used for research, education and for the benefit of patients with liver disease in the NHS Grampian area and the staff who treat them. To date the fund has been used to improve the patient pathway and comfort whilst in treatment and allow nursing and junior medical staff to obtain and develop skills relating to patients with a variety of liver conditions.<span class="684275821-04032011"> Money made available from The Aberdeen Liver Fund along with other sources meant that Grampian was one of the first units in the UK to obtain a Fibroscan machine which allows the assessment of the progression of liver disease thereby reducing the need to come into hospital for a liver biopsy.</span> </span></span></div>
