Hello Folks

In June I will be embarking on a journey to work with the NMC in Malawi to co-ordinate the work they are doing to support and sustain their nurses/midwives who endeavour to deliver the highest quality of care in very difficult circumstances and by that I mean severe shortages of staff, resources and the demographic catastrophe caused by AIDS.

I will be involved in rolling out the NMC Malawi CPD framework which provides staff with development opportunities and  career pathways. but as importantly it is also an incentive for Malawian nurses/midwives to continue practising in their homeland.
