Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

This year the Wood team are supporting Sue Ryder and its Aberdeen based neurological care centre, Dee View Court by raising £100,000 towards an extension.  The extension will provide a further 20 bedrooms and double its capacity.

Aberdeen’s Deeview Court is the only purpose-built specialist care centre in Scotland providing round the clock care for people aged 18 - 65 living with long term and degenerative neurological conditions.

Throughout 2019 Wood will be taking on a range of sporting and fiery challenges to raise funds.

As a proud member of the Wood Team, I have decided to support Wood's fundraising and challenge myself by abseiling from the summit of the 131ft AECC Northern Lights Tower together with my  daughter Rachel and three of her friends, Chris, Stacey and Louise.

Taking part was a last minute decision but we would still like to try and raise as much as we can for the Deeview appeal.   If you can spare anything at all, we would be really very grateful.

Thank you very much in advance.
