Story
On Saturday, 3rd September, Barclays Capital will be sending their elite triathlon team to take on London's finest in the Metro Office Triathlon.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime, not-to-be-repeated opportunity to see three of your colleagues pushing back the boundaries of sport in the name of charity.
The race begins with a 400m swim in Dorney Lake, Eton. Sarah Dees has gamely agreed to take on this challenge in the shark-infested waters, with nothing but an aerodynamic swimsuit to protect her from the dangers lurking below the surface.
Sarah will then hand over the baton to our mystery cyclist, who has requested that he remains anonymous. All we're allowed to say is that his first name is Lance.
Finally, David Peters will bring the team home on the glory leg, a 5km run along the sides of the lake. We will be raising money for the Youth Sport Trust, a charitable organisation that makes sporting dreams come true for young disabled children. This is a particularly relevant and worthy cause and we hope that you will dig deep to support it. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Youth Sport Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor us now! Many thanks for your support.
