Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Our team of Maxine Maxwell, Mairi Niven, Snehana Bhagat, Natasha Barrett, Margo Steele, Cat Driscoll, Karly White, Jackie McGilben, Marion Morrison, Claire MacLean, Natalie Lalley, Julie Cunningham and Louise McMahon are running the ladies 10K in Glasgow on Sunday May 13th to raise funds for and awareness of a Barclays project which will build a small school in Mbale, Uganda to support the education of local homeless orphans and other vulnerable children.

A team from Barclays Glasgow are flying out on September 8th this year to physically build the school. All volunteers are funding their own trip to allow all money raised through sponsorship to go directly to covering the costs of the materials required for the construction of the school and the kitting out of classrooms.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
