We did it!
Soaking wet is an understatement! But we walked a total of 27 miles, climbed and descended 9800ft, drove 500 miles and got completely wet through at least twice!  We completed our challenge despite some very bad weather to contend with and not a blister in sight!  The attached photos are proof of us reaching all three summits and also the beautiful weather we enjoyed!
Thank you so much for all your support. This is very humbling and we are personally very grateful.  Toby is doing really well and is still able to do everything that he wishes albeit at a slightly slower pace.  Action Duchenne are committed to funding the much needed research into different drugs that will be essential to prolong the lives of Toby and other boys who suffer from this devastating condition.

There can be various reasons for attempting to climb Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon within 24 hours.   Our motivations include wanting to try something new and different to the running, cycling and swimming adventures we have each enjoyed over the last few years and three of us turn 40 this year (we are not telling which one of us was 40 two years ago - you can ask Matthew!). We are also seeking sponsorship again to raise money for Action Duchenne.  As many of you will know Toby has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and all the money raised will go towards research into finding a cure for this devastating condition. Toby copes wonderfully well with the huge challenges he faces every day and we are extremely grateful for your sponsorship of our 2012 challenge on the 23/24 June.
