I am having my much loved dreadlocks shaved off in a bid to help raise money after the untimely death of my friend to suicide in May 2016. I would like to help raise awareness of suicide among teenagers and suicide in general. I feel like suicide is not spoken about enough and if it was the lives of those so desperate that they commit suicide, could perhaps be saved. Suicide devastates those around them and no one should have to suffer the loss of a child or those close to them, it breaks hearts and they can never be fixed. I can't bear to think of someone so desperate that they feel this is the only way out and I want to do something about it.
