Ride+Stride 2014 · 13 September 2014 ·

We are the charity for people who love church buildings. We support places of worship of historic, architectural and community value used by Christian denominations throughout the UK. Thanks to our supporters, 23 churches were removed from Historic England’s At Risk register last year.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I plan to cycle from the most northerly parish in Cambridgeshire, Tydd St Giles, to the most southerly, Barley, to raise money for the Cambridgeshire Historic Churches Trust and the National Churches Trust. In nearly 100 miles I hope to visit over 50 churches, all within 8 hours.

Online donations will go to the National Churches Trust, however it makes it more fun if you sponsor me per church or per mile (and will help with motivation on the day!), if you would like to do this please contact me on 07787 800 888 or barnabas.leeke@gmail.com in this case the money raised will go to my local trust.

It's been over 20 years since I last did the Ride+Stride, but my home parish has benefited from grants recently so I thought we ought to give something back. I've taken part in challenging rides before, so needed to do something special for this event.

Thanks for your support!
