Barrow to Skegness · 8 June 2013

KEEPTHEBEAT is a charity established to provide hope and support to the families affected by congenital heart defects. The Charity will have a particular interest in Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, but over time we hope to develop and cover all CHD's.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The Finance team are again going to join the annual Barrow to Skegness bike ride in aid of Keep the Beat and the Peter Le Marchant Trust.

This year Mark, Jonathan, Jacqui and Jonny are being re-joined by Gary Dreon who has will be dusting off his 'Cycle-to-work' bike if he can find it!

Heidi Barnard and Lorna Pilbin from the Central Environment team are also getting in on the act, in a desperate bid to drive down the carbon footprint of their department.

The growing team is also joined by Russell Trueman, Strategic Planning Manager for British Gypsum.

This annual event is brilliantly organised by Phil Johnson from British Gypsum's Barrow plant supporting a different charity each year and the 2013 route has been extended slightly to make it 100 miles. Any donations from friends, family and colleagues will be gratefully received.
