Alzheimer's Society - Cycle London to Paris 2011 · 14 September 2011 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

My aunt Gwen suffers from Parkinsonsand Dementia and in april 2010 had to move into a care home as she was no longer able to live at home. Apart from visiting Gwen every day I can't do anything more for her. I feel I want to help in the fight to find a cure for Dementia and that's why I am undertaking this challenge. I know times are hard and demands on your cash are high, but please try and find something to help. It's to late for Gwen but just maybe as a result of our fundraising we can make a cure for Dementia come that little bit closer. Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
