<p><strong>Make-A-Wish Foundation<span class="super">®</span> UK grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life-threatening illnesses. Since being established in the UK in 1986, we have granted over 5,700 wishes. </strong></p>
<p><strong>There are 20,000 children and young people living in the UK with a life-threatening illness.</strong> <strong>In 2010, around 1,000 children will turn to us to have their special wish granted.</strong> <strong>We want to grant a magical wish to every one of these...and more!</strong> <strong>Because we believe a wish can transform a child’s life.</strong> <strong>Make-A-Wish needs to raise £5 million in 2010 to achieve this.</strong></p>
