This voluntary charity set up in 1989 gives out around £60,000 each year. Most of this money is given to support blood-related cancer research in the Newcastle University Medical School and the RVI, Newcastle upon Tyne. The rest of the money is given to local hospices and cancer support groups.

Please, please help me in raising as much money as i can to support my chosen charity NEPAC, North East Promenaders Against Cancer , this is a very worthwhile charity giving out over £60,000 per year to sick people.

We have all been affected by cancer in some way, my stepdad died from the illness in 2001 and my mother was diagnosed with cancer in 2008, thankfully she was given the all clear this year. I will be eternally thankfull for all the help she received and i want to give something back.

This is the 4th year running that i'm doing the North Run and the 3rd time i'm raising money for a charity.

Please help me and donate to my 'just giving' page.

Many thanks in advance, Barry

You have to have a sence of humour to run 13.1 miles and as you can see from my profile photo, I have!!!
