MILE LONG ZIP WIRE · 19 October 2014

The nation’s leading first aid charity. Every year, more than 400,000 people learn how to save a life through our training programmes. Our volunteers provide first aid in their communities and thanks to them fewer lives will be lost needlessly. Raise money. Help save lives. Be the difference.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As part of our Babcock's ongoing commitment to contribute to the great cause that is St. John's Ambulance, I have decided to complete the longest zip line in the Northern Hemisphere, which is also happens to be the fastest zip line in the world, reaching speeds exceeding 100mph.

I have included a brief video on this page to show what it all entails but you can also check out the link http://www.zipworld.co.uk/what-to-expect-at-zip-world-velocity/ for more information.

I am all booked in to complete this challenge on Sunday 19th October (weather permitting) and I have fully prepped my team to cover my role in case the harness doesn't do its job!!

Please take the time to look at my page and, if you are able to, donate generously!
