The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge! · 15 June 2012

Brain Tumour UK has merged with The Brain Tumour Charity to become the UK's largest dedicated brain tumour charity. We fund research and offer support and information to those affected whilst raising awareness and influencing policy.

Story

As some of you know, my younger sister Emma was diagnosed with brain cancer 3 years ago. Between now and then she's had brain surgery, radio therapy and given birth to a wonderful baby boy (who I'm sure you've all seen a photo of :). She's currently doing well and the cancer is stable which is great but she's very tired as a result of it all.

Emma's the most inspirational person I know and I'd like to raise money for the charity that's helped her the most during this very tough time for her, Brain Tumour UK, by doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge on Saturday 23rd June 2012.

The elite team of Spartans I'll be doing it with are:

- Dan Jervis

- Seth White

- Nathan Bowles

- Dev Barlow

- Ryan Finnerty

The Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge takes a circular route across country linking the summits of 3 mountains (Pen-Y-Ghent, Ingleborough & Whernside). The route is a challenging 23.5 miles (37.5km), includes 1586m of ascent and we aim to do it under 12 hours (Spartan time).

The target is only small so please dig deep and donate now :)

Thanks for your support.
