This is my second charity cycle for the British Lung Foundation prior to the ATS Conference and this time we are going further than ever (150 miles) in a much hotter climate, not to mention the risk of alligators! The route is through Louisiana, starting in St Francisville then down to Baton Rouge, through Louisiana State University then criss-crossing the Mississippi all the way down to New Orleans (or N'awlins as they say). Over the years, these charity cycle rides have raised an estimated £25,000 for the BLF, so let's keep up the good work.
The British Lung Foundation aims to find solutions to lung disease by funding word-class medical research, provide support to those living with a lung condition, provide information on lung disease to patients their carers and the public.
