BUPA Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Simon's Dad was diagnosed with Alzheimers last year so we are trying to raise as much money as possible for this great cause.  Simon and his sister cycled from Ravensglass to South Shields earlier in the year and now we're completing our third Great North Run.  We'd really welcome your support (and you may also like to make a side bet as to who will come in first - it's one all at the moment.  (The good money's on Tracey!)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Many, many thanks

Simon and Tracey
