My story
Who are the Buns of Steel?
The Buns of Steel is made up of a group of Beale and Company staff and friends of the firm who undertake an annual challenge to raise money for charity. In previous years the Buns have successfully climbed and completed the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge raising over £9,000 for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
2010 Buns of Steel Challenge
The Buns are going to step things up a level and attempt a tougher event in the form of the National 3 Peak Challenge with the aim of raising £10,000 for RedR. The challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks in (), () and () in 24 hours. The buns will have to climb 9700 feet, walk up to 26 miles and drive 450 miles to complete the challenge. RedR is an international charity which provides training and recruitment for the humanitarian sectors working in international disaster relief.
