The Noah's Ark Appeal was set up to build, equip and further support the first dedicated children's hospital for Wales. After having raised over £12m to support phase one of the hospital, we are now looking ahead to the day phase two is open and are now aiming to raise a minimum of £4m. This will buy vital state-of-the-art equipment in the new critical care unit for children needing intensive and high dependency care. It will also purchase a special 'open' MRI scanner that allows parents to lie by the side of their child; this machine has lights, colour and music to distract the child. My story

Rebeca had worked for the firm since July 2006 and will be missed not only by her colleagues in the shipping team but by many other people, right across the office.

Beca fought a courageous battle against cancer and her family has asked that donations be made to the Noah’s Ark Appeal, in lieu of flowers. The appeal has so far collected money to build the first phase of the children’s hospital for Wales comprising two wards with two floors dedicated to young people with cancer, but needs further support to complete other projects including a teenage cancer unit.

The Firm will be making a donation in Beca’s memory, but if you would also like to do something that will have a positive and permanent impact in her name, just follow the directions on the page.
