I've always wanted to run the London Marathon and this year I was lucky enough to get a place in the ballot.  As many of you know I've been running sporadically for the last few years, but doing the marathon means it's time to get serious about my training!

So, to help keep me motivated during the long training runs on wet, cold and dark evenings I'm raising money for Amnesty International, a charity that does excellent work to promote human rights and defend victims of human rights abuses around the world.
