Myself and Beck have decided to swim the Channel...at Bircotes Leisure centre!

We have until 5th December to swim 22 miles...in a 20m pool. That's 1770 in just under 10 weeks.

The Channel swim is all for the charity Aspire, who support people who have suffered spinal cord injuries. Through it's projects and programmes, Aspire offers practical support to the 40,000 people living with a spinal cord injury in the UK so that they can lead fulfilled and independent lives.

We are aiming to raise £150, which would buy voice activated software which can be used to type and make calls and texts for someone who has a high level injury.

We would be grateful for any donation, no matter how small, so PLEASE donate what you can.

We will post regular updates on mileage, and maybe even a picture of Beck trying to get a swimhat over her mop head!
